Terms of service

http://homers.co is a website that has the aim of contributing to the creation of a community of persons interested in the topic of cohousing and innovative housing, promoting the projects conducted by Homers SBrl. The website is managed by Homers Società Benefit a Responsabilità Limitata, hereafter referred to as Homers.

To access the contents and/or use the services it is necessary to use authentication credentials provided by other service providers (e.g. Facebook or Google) or to create an account, requiring the assignment of new credentials.

The user acknowledges that Homers, for the whole duration of the relationship, will identify her/him as the holder of her/his rights and obligations exclusively based on the assigned digital identity, represented by he credentials (user ID/email and password) that s/he will have declared and/or chosen to use.

Therefore, the user shall commit to safeguard such credentials and to immediately alert Homers – in case s/he has chosen to register directly on the website – about any loss of exclusive control over the credentials themselves, by writing to info@homers.co, thus acknowledging that the failure to do so, and up to the moment Homers receives any alert, s/he will be the sole person responsible or any action and conduct brought about through such credentials (e.g. publication of contents, request for a service, etc.), and will not be able to take exception to the use of services or access to contents connected to the use of the credentials.

In case the user is able, through some of the services available on the website (e.g. discussion forums), to publish,  disseminate or make use of contents, s/he shall commit to publish, disseminate or communicate exclusively such contents as do not violate the law and/or the rights of third parties. In that case, moreover, the user declares and guarantees that s/he has the full rights to publish contents (text, images, photographs and/or portraits, video, audio-visuals), having pre-emptively obtained, wherever necessary, all consent and/or authorisation provided for by law, with particular – but not exclusive – attention to copyright laws and privacy laws.

The user commits to indemnify and hold harmless Homers for any requests, including compensation requests, proposed and/or derived, either directly or indirectly, by the use of the services and/or by the publication of any content. For the purposes of such indemnification, the user shall be held responsible of any conduct brought about using the credentials s/he is assigned, unless the loss of controls over the credentials is communicated to Homers prior to the aforementioned conduct.

It is understood that Homers reserves the right of removing, at any moment, any contents published by the user through the services, in respect to complaints concerning any violations of the rights of third parties, or however in its sole discretion.

The user grants Homers the right and license, not subject to any reward – and as such completely free – and not exlcusive, to use, adapt, publish, distribute, copy, and execute without any territorial and/or temporal limit, anything the user publishes, sends and transmits through the services.

The ownership of all documents and contents (text, presentations, images, photo, video, etc.) lies with Homers.

Viewing, downloading and using the data published on the website implicates full acceptance of these legal notes.

The replication and reproduction of the contents available on the website is dependent on Homers’ explicit approval.

Homers constantly commits to guarantee the quality of the information published on the website, as well as its integrity, timeliness, completeness, ease of consultation and accessibility.

For any warning or advice, it is possible to write to info@homers.co. Under no circumstances can Homers be held responsible for any damage caused, either directly or indirectly, by access to the website, by the incapacity or impossibility to access it.
